Frequently Asked Questions
Our courses cover the North and the South across two main locations with a pop up in March, Cambridgeshire where we run Spray Granite training. Our Northern classes are in Preston, Lancashire, which is easily accessible from the M6 motorway when you exit at Junction 21. Those in the South can attend our classes in Edenbridge, Kent just South of the M25 at Junction 6.
Our courses start at £450 and go up to a maximum of £1350 (plus vat). The cost of training will depend on the specific painting and decorating course you book. We can also offer eligible students CITB funding to cover the cost of the course.
The majority of our painting and decorating courses are generally 2 days long. However this can vary depending on the course. We make sure we allow enough time to cover everything you need to know, and give you plenty of hands-on and practical experience. A typical day starts at 9am and finishes at 4.30pm.
Each course is run by experienced painters and decorators who have honed their own craft and taught many others just like you. Our Northern courses are led by Pete Wilkinson who is a spray painting expert and was a college lecturer. Classes in the South are run by Ian Crump who started out as a decorative artist and progressed into using spray techniques back in the early 2000s. Both course leaders are the founders of PaintTech, so you’re in safe hands.
If you are a Ltd company or employ staff through PAYE or the CIS Scheme then yes you will be able to access CITB funding, and we can help with all the paperwork involved in that.
If you have looked into funding and it’s not an option for you then there may be local council or enterprise schemes available to you.
OR, if you are a Sole Trader then we have introduced a 30%!
